It is NFL football betting season.....the best time of the year. Training camp has just started and the NFL football betting season is just around the corner.

You say you woke up this morning in a blaze of premonition?
Well, before you reach for the phone,
take a moment to consider that dynamic activity known as:
As anyone whose heart beats faster at kickoff will tell you – there are almost infinite ways to bet on any sport. And NFL football betting is no exception. Start talking to an aficionado and your head will soon be spinning with words you’d never heard of five minutes ago:
“teasers”, “parlays”, “spreads”, “splits” – it’s endless! So our first piece of advice (are you listening?) is
“Do not bet what you don’t understand!”
Sounds pretty self-explanatory doesn’t it? Ah, but if common sense ruled the world Bill Clinton might have thought twice about picking up that cigar. But we digress.
So if you do not feel like googling gambling sites until this morning’s inspiration (not to mention the fun of it all) has passed
“Keep it simple”!
Start out with all those “king of the department” office pools that let you pick the games “straight up”: whoever wins the game, wins the bet. Then you can work your way into spreads, points, coin tosses and even who T.O. is going to piss off next. Whatever floats your boat. But if you can’t explain it to your non-football-loving significant other – Don’t bet it! And, as always:
