World Series Picks
There are few things in sports that can rival the World Series. It is the culmination of a long baseball season and it is usually a battle between two very good and worthy teams. Some people feel like World Series picks have a lot to do with momentum. The hottest team, for instance, will come home with the trophy. Though it certainly helps to be hot when you enter the World Series, it is not the overriding factor. In 2007, for example, Colorado came into the October Classic riding a big winning streak. They were swept in four games by the Boston Red Sox. Why was this? The Red Sox were simply better than the Rockies.
Take a hard look at the matchups before making your MLB picks or World Series picks. Think about the pitching matchups, as well as the hitters. Experience also plays a bit role in the World Series, as some players will wilt under the pressure if they have never been to the big stage before. All of these should combine to give you a chance at making good World Series picks.
